Powering Climate & Infrastructure Careers Challenge

SSA helped the Families and Workers Fund strategize, design, and launch the Powering Climate & Infrastructure Careers Challenge, launched in November 2023. Designed to complement recent federal funding for workforce projects in clean energy and infrastructure, the Challenge will award flexible, gap-filling grants of up to $1.5 million to scale inclusive training, support workforce planning, and help deliver uplifting careers.
